Microsoft has finally unveiled Windows 11, Microsoft has confirmed that the operating system will be available as a free upgrade for all compatible computers running Windows 10, and the new Windows operating system has a set of minimum hardware requirements.
And what this means is that Windows 11 will be free for those whose system corresponds to it or meets the basic requirements for running Windows 11, such as 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage and a 64-bit processor.
But, if you are not sure what processor your system has or how much RAM is on your system and you still want to know if your system will support Windows 11 or not, Microsoft has covered this for you, as the company has introduced a new tool that you can download and will do the rest for you.
Here’s how to check Windows 11 compatibility with laptop and desktop:
- Open the official site of Microsoft on your computer using any web browser, on this page, scroll down and don’t see the section “check compatibility”or Check for Compatibility
2 – here, click on the button “Download Application”, This will download a program called Windows PC Health Check.
3-Click the downloaded setting to start the installation process, then follow the on-screen instructions and finish the installation.
4 – Once you’re done, select the option “open a Windows PC Health Check” and click “Finish”.
5-in the program, click the “Scan Now” button under the Windows 11 logo at the top.
6-the tool will scan your system hardware and tell you whether your laptop or desktop will support Windows 11 or not.
